Ekaterini trained at the Western Australian Academy of the Performing Arts (WAAPA) in their ballet course. She recently returned from living in London, where she furthered her training under a range of esteemed teachers and participated in workshops with London City Ballet, New Creations Collective and BalletMAR. Highlights of her time at WAAPA include choreographing and performing in Historically Informed Performance Company’s (HIP Co.) Let Us Dance and Let Us Dance 2.0, narrating and performing in The Lost Little Llama for Awesome Arts Festival and performing Pina Bausch’s Tannhauser. Although Ekaterini was originally trained in the RAD syllabus, she feels very fortunate to have since learnt from artists all over the world. She now takes pride in constantly developing her dancing to be a melting pot of different techniques and philosophies. During her time in London, Ekaterini began teaching and fell in love with sharing her knowledge with fellow artists. In every class, she strives to create a safe and joyful atmosphere and will always commit to encouraging artistry, musicality and storytelling.
